Looking for a great gift for the beer lover in your life? They will undoubtedly be as excited as we were when HeBrew Vertical Jewbelation gift packs showed up at our door.
A little background on HeBrew Jewbelation: Every year, the Schmaltz Brewing Company releases a beer called Jewbelation to commemorate the anniversary of their brewery. The beer changes though, because an additional malt and hop variety are added each year, and the beer is 1% higher in alcohol. The number of malts, hops, and the alcohol percentage correlate with the anniversary year of the brewery, meaning that this years Jewbelation is brewed with 14 hops, 14 malts, and is 14% alcohol to commemorate the 14th anniversary of Schmaltz Brewing.
So back to those Vertical Jewbelation gift packs. They include the previous 7 vintages of Jewbelation, starting with the 8 hop/malt/ABV Jewbelation all the way up to 14 hop/malt/ABV Jewbelation. But the gem of the gift set is a bottle of all seven recipes of Jewbelation blended together and aged in Sazerac Rye Whiskey Barrels. Also included in the set is a HeBrew glass, instructions on how to make a beer menorah, and candles and a bottle to help you accomplish this feat.
Dont miss your opportunity of having someone else do all of the cellaring for a monumental vertical tasting for you. Also available from Schmaltz is the Hebrew Jewbelation 14 in 22oz bottles, a steal at $5.99. How long do you think HeBrew can keep up the tradition of adding a malt, hop, and 1% to the ABV of the beer each year?

How much will the vertical past go for? Is it actual vintages, or a re-release of the same recipe?
It is actually vintages, and it is $33.99 for the seven vintages, the blend of all the vintages the glass, etc.
That IPA is incredible. Had it in a bar in Chicago and had the best sleep I’ve ever had.
Do all locations have this set? It sounds very tempting. I’ve never tried anything from this brewery.
The majority of our locations do have the set, can we check on a certain store for you?
Sure – I live in Lincoln Park.
I came across #13 last year and bought every last bottle I could get my hands on! Looking forward to #14 and the gift pack!
As long as we’re asking – Is the gift pack available in Glen Ellyn?
Jay- Looks like Lincoln Park just sold out of themMike- Glen Ellyn has them in stock
Any in STC? Naperville? I could go to either if it was available there.
Talked to St. Charles and Naperville:St Charles has 4 left in stock, and Naperville just sold out of them.
Quick question: Do you know which stores still have the gift pack? We here in WI are about plumb out of luck but someone will be driving from the city tomorrow for the holiday! Any suggestion as to where they could be directed (from the near south side up through the city and North up Edens / 41) would be a great help.
The Willowbrook Binny’s still has some, and if you want, I can check other locations for you. It seems like most of the stores are starting to sell out though.
if you could I would be most appreciative! thanks
Do they have any at the Lake Zurich Store?
Got mine in STC and they had two more last night. Thanks Kyle. You rock.
I just talked to the Lake Zurich, and they were one of just a few stores that didn’t order any. They do have the Jewbelation 14 22oz bottles though, which are currently a steal of a deal at $4.99 apiece.
Is it a available anywhere? i have stopped in in Niles, Skokie, Glen Ellyn, Lincoln Park and no one seems to have it. If any have it, if they could put it on hold, I would come out and get it
David:I have contacted you via email.

I live in Westchester County, NY (my zip is 10580), also close to Fairfield County, CT, and have tried Harrison Beverage Mart and they don’t have any…not one bottle. Any other suggestions please? Thanks so much! Laurie
