Brewed in the traditional Kolsch-style, this brew is very light-bodied with a smooth, lemony flavor. Extremely quaffable and refreshing, this is a nice "session" beer!

"..Hints of toasty grain and caramel but this was dominated by green grassy hops. Not IPA styled hoppiness, but impressive considering the style.."

The two breweries that arguably feature the two premier porters on our shelves (Edmund Fitzgeralg & Black Butte, respectively) decided to brew an imperial smoked porter to commemorate both of their 25th brewing anniversaries. That being said, how could this beer be anything short of spectacular? Don't expect it to taste like either of their porters though, this will probably be the smokiest thing you have ever tried outside of Schlenkerla Rauchbier.

"Quite the alcoholic brew, big, boisterious, and complex. Perhaps a bit over the top, but still a brew to reckon with. A good cheese pairing would be with a nice creamy Danish Blue and some rye crackers."
