"In May 2012, the International Trappist Association approved Engelszell to be a Trappist Brewery. This was a big deal, as Engleszell became only the eighth producer of Trappist beer, and only the second outside of Belgium (Austria). Gregorius is a monk-made, 9.7% ABV dark triple brewed with honey."

"Taste is malty and sweet, much like the smell it tastes like honey and has a sort of whiskey characteristic to it. Mouthfeel is great, medium bodied as the pour would suggest, with a pretty fair amount of bite from the carbonation."
