"Well made, reasonably priced and delicious. The nose offers plenty of crisp blackcurrant, raspberry leaf and mint aromas that are well defined and have a Pauillac-like personality. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp black smoky fruit. This is very harmonious and focused with a clinical, crisp, focused, balsamic finish. Bravo – this is a great wine."

"Alluring, with a polished structure that lets the smoldering bay leaf, anise, steeped plum and warm paving stone notes play out. Shows latent grip and solid depth."

"The flavor is dry, very oily, and well-endowed at palate entry; the midpalate adds tastes of black pepper, tar and dried herbs, and the aftertaste features a unique oiliness that is irresistible. This is one of the most singular tequila bouquets of the last ten years, and is the most exciting silver to be released in the last three years."

Bright and luminous to the eye, with orchard fruit and spice on the nose. Apples and vanilla on the palate, with citrus suggestions and minerals emerging in the finish. This is textbook Chardonnay that displays a surprisingly broad range of flavors, and is a diamond in the rough at this price point.
